At the Rocking E Ranch, our button quail are selected for overall size, color, pattern, and egg size. Birds that don't measure up to our standards are removed from the breeding population. We are continually selecting the best, and the quality of our stock is continually improving. Our foundation stock was acquired from six different sources, ensuring a diverse genetic background.
We maintain over sixty breeding pairs of button quail in nearly every color and combination. We regularly have mature adult and young birds available, and can ship them to you, depending on the weather and your location. Eggs are available year round, and extra eggs are included with your order during the winter months when hatch rates naturally decline.
Contact Us for availability of live birds. Egg orders are shipped in the order received and we can usually ship your order within two weeks of the order date.
Live birds will be a minimum of six weeks old and are shipped via USPS Express Mail. Hatching eggs are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Live Birds:
Minimum order of 2 birds.
All colors except for Splash and Pied - $25 per pair.
Additional birds are $12.50 each.
Splash and Pied - $35 per pair.
Additional birds are $17.50 each.
Newly hatched chicks and adolescents:
Minimum order of $30 - Available for pick up only.
Chicks to two weeks - all colors - $5 each
Two to four weeks - all colors - $10 each
Custom Hatching - You specify the colors you want us to hatch:
Minimum order of 6 birds. 50% deposit required.
Pricing same as above.
Hatching Egg Pricing:
25 eggs including shipping - straight run - $20
50 eggs including shipping - straight run - $35
Custom orders - you select the colors you want:
Add $5 to orders up to 50 eggs. Subject to availability.
